Speak in the Spotlight

Ooh Ahh by:Grits

I think that in this chapter Mr. neck was being a bit hasty and harsh. While yes she should have had a pass she had a good excuse. plus even though he thinks he is good at pointing out troublemakers he just might be wrong sometimes and should give kids a chance. Oh! And seems to be having some luck issues going on with the friends problem and Mr. Neck to the luncroom fiasco.

''It is easier not to say anything. Shut your trap, button your lip, can it. All that crap on TV about communication and expressing feelings is a lie. Nobody really wants to hear what you have to say.'' Pg.9

My name is Melinda Sordino. I may not be high on the popularity range but I know how not to sink lower. Like on the 1st day you buy lunch. That is so that when you pack your lunch you know whats in, paperbags, grocery bags, or lunch boxes. And try and learn from your mistakes. So like I wouldn't want to stand akwardly in the middle of the lunch room looking for a seat like I did in the auditorium. Oh! And remember only some teachers will buy your excuses so when in doubt can it.

''I motor so fast out of the lunchroom the track coach would draft me for varsity if he were around. But no Mr. Neck has cafeteria duty.'' Pg.8

Lockers before lunch.

No packed lunches on the 1st day.
